Tecnologia Avançada Garantida S.A. is a Salvador da Bahia, Bahia, Brazil based company, founded in 1962 for the purpose of manufactiuring high pressure ball valves and wellhead completion equipment.

BALL VALVES, GENERAL USE

T.A.G. S/A valves were designed according to international standards, for chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industries. They can be used in a wide range of applications.

FIRE SAFE DESIGN

T.A.G. S7A fire safe valves are designed according to BS-5351. They are qualified according to BS-6755 Part 2 by ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), which provide a reliable valve in fire safe applications.

SUBSEA APPLICATION

T.A.G. S/A has a line of valves and actuators for working up to 1000 meters under the sea.

APPLICABLE STANDARDS

T.A.G. S/A products are according to the following standards:

Design and construction: API Spec 6A , API Spec 6D, ANSI B16.34, BS-5351

Tests: API spec 6A, API Spec 6D, ANSI B16.34

Face to face and end to end dimensions; ANSI B16.34

Flanged ends: ANSI B16.5

Socket welding ends: ANSI B16.11

Buttwelding ends: ANSI B16.25

Threaded ends: ANSI B2.1

CONTROL VALVES

All T.A.G S/A valves can be supplied with pneumatic, hydraulic or electric actuators and its accessories such as Limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners, air set etc.

Depending on the cliente’s application the valve can work as a Blow down valve, Shut Off valve, Motiorized valve, etc.

VALVES FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE

T.A.G. S/A has special valves designed to work in temperatures up to 400°C. The selection of materials, machinery and assembly is made with high criteria considering severe temperature conditions.

T.A.G. S/A products meet the highest level of quality control and quality assurance. The accuracy of our CAD/CAM system allows us to follow specifications to the letter. Our CNC capabilities result in high quality at all times.

The company’s Quality Management system has been assessed by ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc., and complies with the ISO 9001 quality standard.

In 1992, the Company was the 7^th in Brazil to receive the ISO 9001 certificate (certificate number: 30009).

API SPECIFICATION

Effective October 12, 1993, the Company received the right to use the official API monogram on products manufactured in accordance with Specification 6A and 6D.

PETROBRÁS 1994 QUALITY AWARD

In November 1994, the Company won the Petrobrás 1994 Quality award, in the category of small companies
